Basil Street
The project for this penthouse apartment is founded on a principle of space and light. Inspired &Co remodeled the layout to create an open living area, with a large section of the roof structure removed and replaced with fine glass sections to create a light filled space. The interior has a minimal aesthetic, with simple elegant lines created through the use of wide plank oak flooring and lacquered paneling. Classic rich materials are also echoed in the furniture selection and fabric choice.

OBJECTIVE
This project gave us an opportunity to develop the top floor of a period building, in line with our client’s objectives of creating a large open plan space where family could visit and enjoy. Working within the limitations imposed for the front elevations, we captured light through playing with the ceiling and lighting to create a bright and interesting space.
RESULTS
We combined latest innovation and insight, with an understanding of client’s aspiration, to deliver a property that optimised its spacial and site-specific opportunities, whilst delivering a home that fulfilled lifestyle needs.
