The Tower
The project for this country residence stems from the need to develop an existing grain store in to a home that blends harmoniously with its natural surroundings. In order to seize as much of the magnificent views as possible, the entire living area protrudes from the excavated bank to create a ground floor with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It was important to be sympathetic to both the existing building and its location.

OBJECTIVE
The challenge was to work with a circular building to create a practical solution that combined the outdoor landscape with a contemporary interior. This dictated both the form of the spaces and the choice of furnishing, to ensure this house nestled in to its surroundings.
RESULTS
Many of the furnishings are bespoke to work with the curves of the building, with other interior and exterior furnishings including a composition of classic pieces from Minotti and B&B Italia.
